(It's Time) Are You Up For The Challenge?
Two weeks ago I finished Joel Gandara’s “31 Days to Become a Better Man” virtual class.
(Ladies, Sarah did the women’s challenge and will be sharing her experience next week. So consider reading this for your husband’s sake ).
Rewind to fall of 2023:
I read Joel’s book after learning about it from a business colleague who runs one of the Inc 5000’s Fastest Growing Companies.
Initially, I was hesitant to pick it up because I’ve read SO many self improvement books and attended dozens of seminars.
I ended up purchasing it anyways because it was so highly recommended…
Plus, I’m a believer that if you can get just ONE good idea from a book, seminar or podcast, that it’s worth it…even if the rest of the content sucks or is irrelevant.
Never heard of Joel Gandara?
I hadn’t either. What I learned is that Joel is the guy who practices what he preaches. He’s got an amazing family, great health, and has also acquired, built and sold many businesses (he didn’t make his money by speaking, writing or marketing). Now that he’s set for life, he has a new mission:
Help other men by creating something he wishes he had during his “come up.”
His book is about what the title explicitly suggests:
31 Days to Become a Better Man.
There are daily physical challenges and also mental exercises that cover a wide variety of topics related to your health, money, marriage, kids, career, and more.
After reading the book I learned there was a “virtual class” you could participate in with 24 other men. This is done via Zooms and WhatsApp.
Are you a Lone Wolf?
Now I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent most of my life as the “Lone Wolf” type (trying to do things on my own), even though I’ve been a part of sports and business teams.
Being a Lone Wolf has it’s costs.
I had a feeling this challenge would give me the opportunity to change that.
Long story short, I was right. The camaraderie, community and accountability certainly turned out to be a hidden benefit.
Rather than me explain everything about the challenge, listen to a couple minutes of what class members had to say for themselves:
I won’t reveal all that it did for me, because the benefits you’ll see might not be the same I experienced…
Because we are all at different stages of our journey, am I right?
But I will say this: whether you’re in a tough spot, whether you’re bored, whether you feel like you’re in a rut…or just need a spark so you can level up and become the man God called you to be…
I dare you to sign up for Joel’s next class.
The bad news is that spots are limited and they are filling up lightening fast. And no, that’s not some made up urgency tactic. You’ll see this for yourself when you go on his site to enroll (if you wait).
Want the good news?
Instead of getting a referral commission for sending you over, I asked Joel to replace it by giving you the discount. He graciously accommodated my request, so you’ll get the book for free (taking $20 off the price of admission).
Just use coupon code “BROWN” when you sign up HERE
We are doing this because we would rather give you another reason to take the class and build some relationship equity in the process.
Disclosure: this class isn’t for sissies. I’m not saying it’s Navy SEAL training by any means, but people do fall out.
It’ll show you who you are, and who you aren’t.
It’ll give you new levels of awareness and insight that can propel you to move the needle in the areas that matter.
It will also screen some people out because it’s $220 (about $200 if you use our “BROWN” discount code).
Some of you won’t do it because you’re not sure it will be worth it (you’ve spent money on other things that didn’t yield results, so maybe your spouse fears this will be a repeat and give you pushback).
Others of you won’t do it because life has kicked you down and you’ve given up on your ambitious dreams (if that’s you, I suggest you sign up right now so you’re not that example for your kids).
Yet others won’t do it because you don’t think you need it (I can’t tell you how many men felt this way prior to enrolling).
Regardless, you’re probably doing well in at least one area of your life but have blindspots about others that might need some attention.
Do you think you have what it takes to become a better man in just 31 days?
Sign up HERE and use discount code “BROWN” to find out what you’re made of…
I think you’ll be surprised.
I was.
Until next time, own what matters : )

Note: Sarah went through the women’s challenge and will share her experience in the next email.
2nd Note: Reply to this email if you’d like to hop on a 10 minute phone call if you have more questions or want to hear more about my experience.
P.S. If you don’t have an emergency fund with 6 months of living expenses saved…OR a separate account set up to acquire assets…we recommend you still buy what we just reviewed. But in the future, consider replying with the phrase “budgeting sucks” and we will get you access to a powerful app that allows you to put your cash flow on autopilot.
P.P.S. If you haven’t answered life’s most important question, anything else we talk about is irrelevant. So consider watching a few minutes or more of this HERE
